Maison Margiela takes over the sidewalks of PFW
In day #2 of our little trip over Paris Fashion Week, we couldn't miss the chance to see what's going on in Maison Martin Margiela S/S 2020 and celebrate Tabi boot 🐐 *30th* anniversary — can u believe it? 2019 is also when le Maison turns 31, now w/ John Galliano @ the director chair.
This season, Galliano put his spin on army and navy wear and shows (again) since he def knows how to merge sartorial skills and concept. The Spring 2020 co-ed 'Défilé' collection is all inspired by the army and navy boys who stepped up to have the victory against Nazism. 🚫🚫🚫
Outside the Grand Palais, the fierce slick style continues. We checked the best Margiela fits for the day, w/ awsm Matrix inspos and leather-everything — Alton Mason showed up in an ❕ all-white lewk ❕, head-to-toe leather. 💣
Aside the Tabi Boot, another iconic Margiela leather shoe design drops over: the see-through flared-heels boots. Well, can't blame it to be on Nadia Lee's feet 🌹, w/ an add of a Glam Slam leather bag.
Margiela channeled military, anchoring the real-world drama w/ a drama walk (nevar4get the zigzagging waggle of Leon Dame.) Need a soldier? Got one.
“I get packages from Paris 🇫🇷, drop that Fed-Ex, sign my name” 🔌. Sure it reads LIT on it, right Vic Mensa?
Leather bags r like *the uniform*. Creator Camila Coelho is keeping the baguette leather fandom going (count us in). 👅 And ICYM, the now released snatched leather bag is already out in the streets: the real-life-filter MUA Kicki Yangz keeps her loved one close — WBU?
Com'on over here 🤤 over more PFW street lewks.
