WHEN A RELATIONSHIP RUNS FOR SO LONG, AND IT'S NOT ONLY GOING STRONG BUT STILL GENERATING NEW CHAPTERS, IT'S A CLEAR INDICATION OF SUCCESS.
This is our story next to the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry.
FOR NINE YEARS WE'VE BEEN PARTNERING WITH CICB LEADING THE ENTITY'S BRANDING AND COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES, HELPING GIVE LIFE TO GROUNDBREAKING INITIATIVES WITHIN THE INDUSTRY AND CICB TO BECOME THE PROJECT TO WATCH ACCORDING TO APEX-BRASIL – GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION RESPONSIBLE FOR FUNDING AND EVALUATING ALL MAJOR SECTORAL BRAZILIAN PROJECTS.
We couldn't be more proud of our partnership with CICB.
One of the key players in the international leather industry, the Brazilian leather sector is made up of 260 tanneries, employing over 40 thousand people and shipping to more than 80 countries, such as Italy, China, and the USA. It boasts an average trade surplus of 1.8 billion USD.
When we first met CICB, however, the Brazilian leather industry was like that major player from the team who is kind of ashamed of his talent – instead of taking the 10 jersey for himself, he seats on the bench watching other take his place.
So we joined forces with CICB to change the game.
IT ALL STARTED IN 2012 WHEN THE CENTRE FOR THE BRAZILIAN TANNING INDUSTRY REACHED US OUT AS THEY NEEDED A NEW WEBSITE. AS DISCUSSIONS AND ANALYSIS GOT NEW CHAPTERS, WE ALL REALIZED THAT WE COULD (AND SHOULD) GO WAY FURTHER.
We embarked on a deep strategic makeover.
Redesign of ID throughout, including the entire entity's branding and culture.
Development of a new content-based official website, providing the industry with an updated UI / UX experience.
Planning and execution of a new communication strategy.
From then on, the sky has been the limit to the Brazilian leather industry.
IT HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH AN INCREASED PERCEPTION FROM BOTH LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS AND STAKEHOLDERS.
Together with CICB, we led groundbreaking projects within the industry – such as Design na Pele, which strategically placed creative designers inside tanneries, giving life to unique leather-oriented creations and an unprecedented experience for Brazilian and international leather industry professionals.
Design na Pele premiered at Milan Design Week, having also been exhibited in the world's major leather-related events, such as Las Vegas, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, São Paulo, and New York.
We helped design the campaign for when Brazil was the host country at APLF in Hong Kong, the world's leading trade fair for footwear, leather goods, garment & furniture industry.
WE HELPED BRING THE INDUSTRY CLOSER AND MORE PRESENT THAN EVER WITH AN UPDATED COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIES, HAVING PRODUCED A SERIES OF EXCLUSIVE PUBLICATIONS AS WELL AS DEVELOPED AN EXCLUSIVE APP AIMED AT ESTABLISHING A DIRECT CONNECTION BETWEEN CICB AND ITS STAKEHOLDERS.
For a number of years we've been honoured with the Project to Watch from Apex-Brasil, the governmental organisation responsible for funding and evaluating all major sectoral projects in Brazil.
Above all, we're really happy to have helped the Brazilian leather industry to feel proud of itself once again.
